Still Alive 03:05
Walked by a graveyard to collect my thoughts Maybe I'll be lying in the ground soon, and my flesh and bone will rot I'm making my way with what I know, 'cause any day could be the day I go 'Cause it's so easy to dream and thats all you had me do Made the real world seem so fake and then got left without a clue So get a whole load of me 'cause I'm gone and I'm chasing my life As dead as I am to you I'm still alive The mists of the morning cloud the world around me 'cause lately I don't wanna see anything Or hear anyone bitch about my whereabouts and wit My teeth grind and grit 'cause I don't want to hear this shit 'Cause it's so easy to dream and thats all you had me do Made the real world seem so fake and then got left without a clue So get a whole load of me 'cause I'm gone and I'm chasing my life As dead as I am to you I'm still alive I'm still alive (i'm still alive) I'm still alive (I'm still alive) I'm still alive (I'm still alive) I'm still alive I'm still alive

One Yell 04:03
Waking up in a land full of hurricanes grabbing me by my head whipping me out of my mind holding me by my throat telling me I'm gonna kill you and take you down under Well take another look at the army behind you 'Cause you seem so shook to me But still your heart sings We have one yell we have one yell inside us our secret spell nothing can stop us now Bang, bang, bang, bang bang, bring the noise make it ring, ring, ring, ring ring from the mountains you'll have to climb to see the light and I'll find you at the top with arms open wide Well take another gaze at the road you've walked and tell me are you phased? more than a lot Well take another look at the army behind you 'Cause you seem so shook to me But still your heart sings We have one yell we have one yell inside us our secret spell nothing can stop us now See the light break through the crowd see the tree break through the ground all the demons in my eyes are released with every cry I'll always know when you're with me I'll always know when the voices lift me I'll always be there for you and, i'll always be yelling right here next to you We have one yell we have one yell inside us our secret spell nothing can stop us now We have one yell we have one yell inside us our secret spell nothing can stop us now

Streets 04:28
If the rain falls than I'll finally shower this week and if the sun shines than I'm gonna feel the days heat bounce off the streets I'm beginning to call home my company they'll keep since all of my friends are gone They watched me they watched me fall they watched me they watched me fall The wooden bench in the park Don't give me the same dreams and I've been thinking about my youth When you'd kiss me to sleep I'm sorry Nothing is what I've made myself to be But my chances aren't gone as long as my heart still beats and i've been looking towards the sky getting lost in its blue eyes the only way I can go is up but my will was never enough 'Cause i've made mistakes in life and my regrets pile high but nothing I've done in my life, makes me deserve to walk the streets at night I never took nobody's life but oh I still feel the strife 'cause i'm stuck here standing on the edge of this knife The wooden bench in the park Don't give me the same dreams and I've been thinking about my youth When you'd kiss me to sleep I'm sorry Nothing is what I've made myself to be But my chances aren't gone as long as my heart still beats and you better believe that I'm not giving up sitting here at rock bottom and i'm looking towards the top the streets are calling my name they're calling my name They watched me, they watched me fall And i'll breath smoke into the trees and i'll fall back asleep and i'll try and catch my dreams whatever's gonna make me happy again

Our personalities match just like My beer and liquor does with my liver those nights I'm home exiled for years this seemed right sharing non-adjacent lives made my thumb into a knife then i dragged cross my throat I'm thinning my time lately I'm ten years ahead of where I should be and my breath is taken from me as you build my life around misery I know this ain't right for our lives to be together but think of our time and how these situations weather if we stay we'll just keep each other tethered but don't worry sweat heart I won't be around forever (Viana) I could've been someone but you tore me down and innocent eyes saw you push me around and I can't wait for you to get out of my town take my misery with you and I promise not to frown no I promise not to frown, no I know this ain't right for our lives to be together but think of our time and how these situations weather if we stay we'll just keep each other tethered but don't worry sweat heart I won't be around forever our personalities match, just like my beer and liquor did with my liver those nights you kicked me out it's been ten years baby those years still drive me crazy at least when I think of you I don't hear a sound no I don't hear a sound

You can't be like me 'cause I got more than you can handle You can't see through me 'cause my light is fading from my candle Always in the dark 'Cause we're a rare bunch dying slowly 'Cause we're a rare bunch the kids don't like me they'll disrespect us because I use my head and they'll laugh at us until this rare bunch of us is dead (Davis) They see a blur in the faces of the crowd and they feel the royalty in the choking of their sound they toy with human nature, make it a disease and they feed their medicine to the minds of the weak Oh why not us 'Cause we're a rare bunch dying slowly 'Cause we're a rare bunch the kids don't like me they'll disrespect us because I use my head and they'll laugh at us until this rare bunch of us is dead Live the life you want, not the life you're told to (Davis) live the life you want, don't let it leave you Well I don't care about what they say 'cause they'll laugh at us Anyway 'Cause we're a rare bunch dying slowly 'Cause we're a rare bunch the kids don't like me they'll disrespect us because I use my head and they'll laugh at us until this rare bunch of us is dead

And I can not remember the last time that I felt the grace of this place and I hear those streets calling at me louder and watching the dreams that they take It's making my body shake So just take me in one more time I promise I'll leave everything behind In this place that used to be home to me and I'll be gone with the early morning breeze and all i'll take From this Shawshank with streets-signs are memories of when I saw life a little more clearly I left home and took nothing but my heart and i've been searching for my piece of mind and a new start but you've got to let go of me So just take me in one more time I promise I'll leave everything behind In this place that used to be home to me and I'll be gone with the early morning breeze So long I'm gone I'm head and I'm heart strong 'Cause I can't find the answers around here so they've got to be out there somewhere but you've got to let go of me 'cause I won't be around forever 'cause I won't be around forever 'cause I won't be around forever 'cause I won't be around forever

about

This EP was a long time coming for this Boston-based Alternative-punk band. The four members have been jamming together since junior year in high school under the band name "Airhorn Gizmo". After a 6 month long hiatus, the four friends got back together to start playing shows again and to begin writing songs that would later be on this EP.

These songs reflect on growing up and the awkward sometimes unsettling shit that comes along with it. They also touch on some personal experiences from the band members and stories they've seen or heard from other people. The lyrical themes attempt to remain consistent, with the notion that when you're put in a bad spot and the world seems to be falling down on your head, you got to keep your head up and just realize that life will deal you a bad hand, maybe multiple bad hands, but you can either stay locked in the negativity or attempt to make the most out of it.

This EP features Ryan Davis from the midwest punk band Lost Years (lost-years.bandcamp.com) and Viana Newton of the RI based rock band Royal Street (www.facebook.com/RoyalStreetOfficial). Both amazing bands that should be checked out!

Special thank you to Joe & Tara Silva for being the backbone of this band since day 1.
